I know in Elder Scrolls lore the elves, Dwarves and Orcs are all subspecies of the same race.

Though Orcs are still significantly more tolerable than Elves, although ironically it's because elves in this setting are outright dicks most of the time.

Ugh. I hated the elves in Eldest...

Actually, I hated Eldest in general. Eragon was bland and complete carbon copy of Star Wars, but at least it was as decent brainless page-turner for a middle-schooler. Eldest just annoyed me.

I like it when elves are treated as different rather than better. It's how they're meant to come across in my own setting.

Yeah, that'd generally be a lot more palatable.

Overall I prefer Dwarves on a more aesthetic level.

Well, I like dwarves a lot as well. Just not as much. I really like Loads and Loads of Races which is what has caused Seraphem to become gobsmacked at the latest fic in my series.

Ouch. sounds rough.

Reminds me, I need to write an email to my roommates reminding them that the four garbage bags and four recycling bags that have stacked up since I started the night shift and can no longer take out the trash in the mornings need to be taken out this week... it's really tempting to start it with 'I have a special big-boy job for you', but somehow I doubt being snide will help convince them to take care of it.

There's nothing wrong in wanting a RD plushie, Starscream. Nothing at all. There's a Build-A-Bear Workshop in a shopping mall one town over from me that sells the same plushie. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I had the money.

I'm awake at 5:20 in the morning worrying about money, so...yeah.

No I mean people walking about in the Oracle I mean. I didn't want to embarass myself in front of these people so I kept a distance from the Build-A-Bear workshop, it's common sense.

@Syd Okay 1 I don't HAVE the money to buy a Rainbow Dash plushie, 2 I know that it doesn't matter what people think and 3 I'm a chicken livered coward who hasn't got the guts to go in there, pick up a Rainbow Dash Plushie, go up to the counter and pay for it, face to face with a shop clerk. Thus I have to shop online on sites like Amazon and the offical Build-A-Bear website. Why? Because I'm that much of a pansy okay?
