Really dumb marketing. Again, part of what makes them special is that they're NOT people.
Though I suppose others will disagree with that.

An absolutely horrible person. Really.
This is the same company that created a line of transformers toys, whose major feature, was that the didn't transform.
I don't know how to respond to that one.
An absolutely horrible person. Really.
I never got very far trying to watch it on Youtube, does Celestia really give her detention? XD
I prefer mozzarella, cheddar, Colby jack or...there's a fourth one, I had it at a Christmas party once but forget the name...
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.
@Sera: They had a plot-mandated handwave for it in the form of Nucleon though.
Humanizations of the characters as art is fine. I just don't get why you would take a show where part of the title is Pony and make everyone human.
And it's not that being ponies makes them better, it just makes them different. Different is nice sometimes. Most of the shows I watch have humans as the main characters, sometimes with aliens or magical humanoids thrown into the mix. Taking the one show about ponies and turning them into people just makes it duller somehow, in my mind.
An absolutely horrible person. Really.
Why put them in high school? Why make them people?
To sell toys. Duh.

Um... don't we have a thread for the movie? *hinthint*
You begin to suspect that your bowl is a portal to the Meat Dimension.
Well I'd rather discuss it here. It's not like it's even spoiling anything anymore, and we don't have much else to talk about.

I'm just a little tired of hearing "wahh executive meddling flat character wahh" by now.

Until season 4? Huzzah?

Well, given that pretty much sums up all the issues with the movie...
Word salad? I tried lettuce once or twice but didn't really like it.

I prefer synonym rolls, myself.
