I don't consider AJ a bland character. She is more interesting than Rarity and even Flutershy.

However it would be nice to have more episodes with her. At least she had better than poor Rarity with no episodes in years.

Also I don't really get hate toward CMC plot.

Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.

I didn't like Cutie Pox that much either. But that's because I'm not a fan of Wacky Magical Disaeses Drive The Plot and I think the hoop acrobatics segment dragged on too long.

Finished May the Best Pet Win and all I can say is: No. Fucking. Comment. I already raged about The Cutie Pox so I'm not gonna do the same with May the Best Pet Win but you can pretty much guess what my reaction is to it. I've got nothing to say and quite frankly I'm so burned out from both episodes that I'm just gonna go in the bath right now and just cool off and be back in a couple of minutes. (Sighs) Ohhh man....

I really have to agree with Star on this one. There's really not much noteworthy about the episode except for Phase Duck. I also to this day wonder how the Hell the Tortise is flying without any real power source!

Ya know what the worst part is? I haven't even gotten halfway through this season yet! And now I'm gonna be watching what you guys dub as the worst episode in this show. An episode that's probably even worse than The Great Divide in Avatar the Last Airbender....and I'm really not looking forward to it...at all...

This season is known for more hit or miss episodes. It has some of the worst, and alternatively absolute best eps in the series. For instance, you have Daring Do and two catchy businessstallions.

@Starscream: Well there is the possibility that you may like it regardless, and if you don't. . .well it will at least you won't be unpleasantly surprised and it might make for an interesting conversation piece.

That's just really popular aspects of episodes.

The Daring Do episode is quite fun. It doesn't hurt that the story Dashie is reading throughout draws heavily from pulp adventure novels.

Season 2 was never miss for me. Worse I can say is - this epsiode is not good/interesting as much as others.

Huh... I do have to wonder if it's unhuman of me to have liked most of the episodes (if not all of them). In any case, I think I'm a little too uncomfortable with discussing favorite and least favorite episodes. (Partially out of disagreement, and partially out of being hated for it.)

I think the closest I've come to ever thinking an episode was actually bad was Apple Family Reunion, and even then it's better than some shows.
