I was really surprised by that. Celestia telling Twilight to work alone was pretty strong foreshaodwing that she would need help. But I assumed that meant the mane 6 working together like usual, not just Twilight and Spike.

Also, the town hall event the Hub had on Twitter was kinda cool.

[up][up][up]Cue complaints about Fi M becoming the "Twilight Sparkle Show".

Though really I didn't like that about the episode to be honest.

I wonder if they thought the power of friendship was overplayed so they intentionalyl didn't use the mane 6?

So this story made me laugh quite a bit.

I really wish we had an episode like that. I mean, obviously not the raunchier jokes, but just Celestia getting into weird shit.

Yeah, great story. In general the Sunny Skies stories are fun for letting Celestia cut loose and be normalish.

Not sure I should read this but the title did make me chuckle and it's pretty much will be exactly what it says on the tin so yeah. But I dunno I'll have a look at it when I've got less company and not in a hotel room with my family.

Well, in "The Crystal Empire", the other mane six's role was important because it kept up the morale of the crystal ponies. Twi and Spike were the ones who retrieved the Crystal Heart, but the crystal ponies were the ones who gave it power with their hope.
And, since today is apparently National Jump To Conclusions Day...

I think my favorite part was Celestia convincing the muggers to play poker to pass the time while waiting for the ransom, and proceeding to win back all the money they took from her. [lol]

You know, a hypothetical Celestia episode doesn't even need to be a Sunny Skies day off gone wrong. It can just be a take on The West Wing or something. There's plenty of weird shit to be had in the castle after all.

But if RD had come with them, they could have solved everything much faster.

Well we have a Celestia micro comic coming out next month. Which focuses on her as teacher and her interacting with one of the other teachers in her school who needs a little help.

Yeah, that'll be awesome. Speaking of awesome, Harmony Theory just had another awesome update (which is the only kind of update it has). I'm really loving the idea of Spike being a sculptor.
I'll concur that Sereg is awesome, but what does his dislike of Life & Times have to do with it? - Midnight Rambler

@Seraphem: Seen and comented. Didn't have anything to say so I just took the oppertunity to fanboy over Tick Tock quickly.

More cards!

Including...
Star Hunter™

Pegasus

When you win a faceoff involving Star Hunter, your opponent must discard the top card of their deck.

[up]But how many has he brought down in his days of hunting I wonder?

I find it silly that the "20 percent cooler" sides are just close ups of their faces.

Well I guess that makes the name official. Sorry Orion but you've been outvoted.

I guess it could be an online pseudonym. Talk about meta.

Why would that be meta? I was given to understand that it was customary in this world to adopt a pseudonym for online communication. I mean, I did.

For what it's worth, Orion will always be Orion to me.

It makes for a nice title, though. "Orion, the Star Hunter".

Sounds like something out of League Of Legends. I wonder if he'd be friends with Soraka?

Maybe Orion could be his middle name. But I'm not sure what Aurora would be then.
