As far as we know, the princesses are the only things in the setting given as much respect or power, and they've been shown to be flesh and blood equines like everypony else. The pilot mentions the stars, and given the apparent NMM episode in s4, I wonder if we'll get more on that.

I don't know if its been brought up, but we finally know what Bonnie Zacherle (the lady who created the whole franchise, remember?) thinks of bronies.

Sounds like she likes us!

@Dark: Yeah, there doesn't seem to be any form of organized religion, but it doesn't preclude any form of spirituality. Like I said before, it's just something that the show probably isn't going to include just because it would cause too many issues.

Anyway, I have to get to sleep now.

My first thought was, "Well, that sucks."

My second thought was, "Wait, why did I read that as:"

Sleepless, with Magic Duel and Wonderbolt's Academy coming in right behind it.

my favorite season 3 episode was probably Wonderbolts Academy, despite the lack of Applejack.

What lack of Applejack? She gets a decent amount of screentime in this episode.

My favorite S3 episodes are Sleepless in Ponyville, Wonderbolts Academy, Magical Mystery Cure and The Crystal Empire.

Oh please, I'm not that innately sarcastic....am I?

On a completely unrelated note, this is apparently the first page of that MLP Manga done by the chicks that do the official Zelda Mangas.

...Its in color! Isn't that, like, Manga heresy?

Actually, a lot of manga have the first few pages of each chapter in color before switching to black and white, so it might just be that.

Okay, going to bed for real now.

Wait, manga is usually in black and white? That's odd.

Yeah. I've read some that start with colour and then segue into black and white.

Usually full color chapters of manga are reserved for big events in really successful series. Promotional art is usually in color though, and that's what that page looks like, more then from an actual chapter.

my favorite season 3 episode was probably Wonderbolts Academy, despite the lack of Applejack.

I can't really choose a favorite. I can narrow it down to three, though.

Magic Duel (It has Trixie being hamtastically crazy, plenty of screentime for Twilight and Zecora, the titular duels were entertaining, and it was nice seeing Twilight solve the problem of the week entirely by using her wits)

Wonderbolts Academy (Return of Spitfire, finally being able to see a bit of how the Wonderbolts operate, and a great example of just how far RD has come as a character)

One Bad Apple (The song, the A-Team sequence, the song, Babs, the song, everything about the "emergency edible boots" throw-away joke, and that freaking song that will never leave your head)

Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah~

It's a pretty catchy song, but g3 had had worse, plus one or two from Tales and the original cartoon.

Heck, everyone has heard call upon the seaponies.

Speaking of Too Many Pinkie Pies, I just stumbled upon an interesting Easter egg on YouTube. A search for Too Many Pinkie Pies resulted in some extra pinkness. smile

They've been doing that for a week or so. It's fun. You can get different colours depending on which pony you search for.

[up][up]Funny enough, I just stumbled on that same easter egg. And apparently, it works for all the main 6, Spike, Celestia, Luna, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Big Macintosh, but for some reason not Sweetie Belle, Granny Smith or Cadance.

I doubt it. Didn't they say the stars thing was a potential plot hook that was thrown in but never picked up on?

Wait, manga is usually in black and white? That's odd.

Probably saves a lot on printing costs if nothing else. That's why OOTS is mostly black and white.

Yeah, any of the main character's names in youtube will change the color to match the character. I think it's something they're doing for geek week.

Aaaaand ninja'd.

That's cool.

For me, Pinkie's Brew, Helping Twilight Win the Crown, and So Far Apart are my earworms.
