@Meta: I should start lurking that thread again. I stopped when Homestuck went on hiatus, and even after it resumed I didn't bother.

"Princess" Twilight? We have a new princess? When the buck did that happen? Jeez, we're out of the loop out here....

Anyway, we don't know a whole lot about dragon physiology, but I'm pretty sure they just grow to a maximum size regardless of environment.

We visit Ponyville on occasion, mostly for supplies. We don't really get to spend much time there.

I did make a trip to meet that Fluttershy mare you guys referred me to the other day to talk about the cockatrice thing. She was very nice, but when I asked if she'd be willing to try and perform the feat again under empirical observation she just hid under her couch. I've got her testimony written down, though, so something may yet come of it.

Our photographer swears he knows her face from somewhere. I brought him along to get a picture in case we put her in a book or something, but I think he did more harm than good by acting out the experiments I wanted her to perform for us. Personally, I think he just likes her.

It's funny to imagine Spike pretending to be a rampaging dragon by making model cities out of twigs and toasting them.

@Ivy: You really need to keep up on your current events.

@Ace: The best thing is that it would be perfectly in character for him.

Yeah, I've never been very good at current events, even before I moved into the middle of a supernatural forest with limited communication access... -_-;;

[up] Yes, let's start calling him that from now on.

That would be funny to see a shot of a rampaging Spike destroying the town only to pan out revealing it to be some toy models.

I wonder if Spike gets backed up if he doesn't use his firebreath enough.

I kept reading the nessies as reports of me to come over.

@Spike getting back-up: I personally believe if he doesn't cut it, they just give 'im a bit of rainbow to drink for the fire to really kick in.
It's a Demonic Lighthouse Slide! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I beg of you, Durza, make it so.

"[up]Unfortunately for Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle just pulled out one of her pinions, which is why she is unable to fly. "

Wait, what about all the times Rainbow lost her feathers in a crash? Clearly, Pegasi have their feathers grow back.

Scoot's big flight pinions haven't grown in properly yet, she's a late bloomer.

seriously Chew, her coronation was in the start of the year, it just like one of us didn't know who is Dilma Russef.

I am tho only one who know who is she, right?

You're questioning that over the fact that my internet connection is interdimensional?

@Ques: Different feathers have different functions. Pinion feathers are pretty much vital for flight, and can take years to heal if they're damaged badly enough. RD usually loses less important feathers.

I remember someone once posted a theory that Applejack and Applebloom and Big Mac and Scootaloo were "young for their age", a genetic condition where you age more slowly than usual.

Anyone else remember that, or did I dream it up?

Why does our internet receive signal of other dimensions? And why most of then are variations of equestria? Is really that common to sapient horses to have access to inter dimensional internet?

Well, there is a genetic condition that causes one to age prematurely. Saw a picture of ten-year old boys who looked like old men.

Although aging too slowly would have to involve a completely different gene. Premature senescence is caused by your DNA strands not having enough telomeres—the opposite condition, overly-long telomeres, would just delay the onset of old age, not the onset of adulthood.
And, since today is apparently National Jump To Conclusions Day...

Well, sub-dimensional transmission is still less interference-prone than trying to pipe wifi through a forest :V

@Questrayve: I've never heard that before, and frankly I don't think it makes much sense. That would mean they are all significantly older then their peers which I don't see any evidence of.

Yeah, it's an interesting theory, but I see no real reason why that would be the case.

Homestuck's "narrator" is kinda hard to describe given that he's a character in the story.

Lemony Snicket technically was too.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
