Does anyone here think Gilda is unfairly disproportionately hated by the fandom? I mean, I don't like her, but I think her DILP status is kind of justified, as she has done the least antagonistic things and is harmless compared to most of the jerks on the show.

If anything Gilda is leaning on the Ron the Death Eater trope, since fans act as though her making Fluttershy cry is the most evil act committed, forgetting the fact that Discord, Chrysalis, Sombra, Nightmare Moon, and the Flim Flam brothers were even worse, and yet some fans treat them like saints.

PS: I like Fluttershy and she started to grow on me. I'm not a Fluttershy hater and I like her more than Gilda, because I dislike bully characters anyway.

Plus, it's annoying how fans woobify Chrysalis and say she was justified in deleting Princess Celestia, simply because Celestia got angry at Twilight for calling the princess evil.
