I'd like to think that instead of horn, unicorn human will have their cutie mark tattooed in the back of their hand. It glows when the user uses magic.

Wait, who in Final Fantasy has a horn sticking out of their forehead?
#387957EnlongSun, 4th Aug '13 10:18:32 PMfrom The Underground Facility
Any given Summoner aside from Rydia and Garnet, I suppose.
Anyway, that's a Touhou character in that video. Namely, Yuugi Hoshiguma. She's an Oni, sort of a specific kind of demon.

Or you could give the unicorn humans elven features.
Roses are red, violets are blue.
I'm sorry to say, you've been eaten by a Grue.

How about a sort of "third eye" mark on their forehead? Either a mark on their skin, or an embedded jewel or something.

If you ask me, no. Enough with elves.
Ooh, I like that. Some might have a problem with the aesthetics, though.

That might work if done right, and not creepy.

It could double as the location of the Cutie Mark, or it could just be a dot or gem in the pony version's coat color.
Though, a Cutie Mark varint would make it look less like one is trying to reference Hindu tradition.

Why not just have normal heads?
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

That's fine if the interpretation is of the characters as normal-looking humans. However, there is also the possibility of interpreting them as humans with certain pony features, like wings for Pegasi.

Wings are ok but I don't think there's any way to make horns look good.

I agree with Mio and JT on Pinkie (Though she's still my least favourite of the Mane Six)
I also like going the elf-route for humanised unicorns.
@Seraphem: Welcome back!
By the way, something I've been thinking of doing:
Plutonia's Application: [Comedy] [Random] Pluto decides that enough is enough. She isn't being challenged enough to learn anything in Magic Kindergarten and it is time to apply for Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Celestia decides that if Pluto WANTS a challenge, she's going to GET one. If Pluto wants to get in, abusing her powers as Alicorn of Death to cheat may not be enough.
I'll concur that Sereg is awesome, but what does his dislike of Life & Times have to do with it? - Midnight Rambler

Didn't you already post that?

Nah, he only posted it on the fanfic thread.

Hello. You and your timezones.

I'm very tired, and a bin man. Early starts. Very trying...decent pay though.
I just wanted to say too, that I apriecate the feedback on my humanisations. It's good to hear criticisms. It's the only way you'll get better.
The key now is to develop this stylised design to improvement. Basically I want them to look like cartoon characters still, not actual people. Because I can't draw people.

You can do it Apple.

Thanks Dark...the job or the drawings?
Also, I've still got Flights Of Fancy on standby due to work and life, but I'm working on it when I can.
Here's a development: we have the Bermuda Triangle right? Well what if the pony world had a similar phenomenon...except that it's a rhombus...because rhombus sounds silly.
