The moment when you realize you can now cook whatever you want, whenever you want, is probably one of the best in any person's life. I recall the day I made pancakes solely because "I'm an adult".

I'll probably spend most of the weekend dreading going back to my old, shitty job on monday... well, and trying to figure out how early I'll have to wake up to be able to exercise and still make it to work on time now that work isn't three minutes away.

This is actually part of the premise of one of my fics (and will be made apparent in a Sequel if i get around to writing it.)

Btw, I was just pondering the idea of an American version of Blackadder. Could be done...so long as it becomes it's own show and doesn't just try to ape the original. The American version of The Office is a good example.

I'm too lazy to cook anything weird though.

I don't eat much meat. Mostly fish.

America doesn't have the benefit of the long history like England does, though. Like, the most recent Blackadder takes place in WWII. Granted I don't know that much about US History, but I think you could maybe get three or four time zones - The revolution, the civil war, WWII, and MAYBE a more recent war. Like, Vietnam or something.

Not that I have any room to talk; Canada could probably only get the war between the french and the english out of it, as far as noteable time periods go. Then again, they could have a lot of fun with the fact the early prime ministers were bugfuck crazy to a man. Our first prime minister was a raving alcoholic, and Mackenzie King used to hold seances to contact his dog.

Looks like I'll be spending another birthday alone. I get to deal with severe feet pain as well this time. Happy birthday to me.
