Scootaloo doesn't really seem to be designed with "cute" in mind so much as "cool". Her character is a bit rougher around the edges. Sweetie Belle is obviously designed to be adorable, and so is Apple Bloom, to a slightly lesser degree.

Eh. She just doesn't do it for me. Oh sure, she has her moments, but it isn't consistent.

Actually, something occurred to me the other day. We see fillies - easily Scootaloo's age, if not younger - flying in the first episode. They're the ones who put the garland on Luna. So... what's up with that? Does scoots not fly out of choice?

Well Damn, Rhyme. I can tell you right off that that's a huge improvement on the last one. It actually looks like a pony now, eh. It still needs a lot of work, mostly in the same area, but the fact remains that it's a fantastic improvement.
