I could easily think of superpowers for the Mane Six. Fluttershy, of course, controls animals, Rarity has power over gems, Twilight has her usual array of magic (and if she has a specific realm, I would give her some kind of light/energy powers), Pinkie has power over balloons and Edible Ammunition involving a weaponized version of when she threw cakes at Spike when he turned into a monster, Applejack would have superstrength and a Green Thumb, and Rainbow Dash has her superfast flight powers and electric powers.

I guess great minds think alike because those are the exact same power sets they were given in Fighting Is Magic.

Looks like someone's awfully fond of Dark Souls. I really need to get back into that.

Evening y'all.

The 12th is about celebrating all that.

How are they allowed to celebrate that? IS it something that's so ingrained that they can't stop it?

Anybrony check out the South Park fan parody episode? It's the closest we'll get to the show actually doing it.

Evening everypony. What's going on?
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.

Yeah, the Provos would have been the ones I learned about in school. The curriculum kinda makes it a point to teach kids some of the history from the places their ancestors are from, but never very much. Usually just 'why they emigrated' and any relevant modern history.

Just out of curioisty, was this Canadian history or American history?

Quick quesion, do you see human Pinkie wearing boots or sneakers?

No

And the Steam Sale has already claimed like 50 bucks from me...

I'm pretty much immune since I know that I'll never have time to actually play these games. I still have the entire Theif series from last summer to go through.

I know damn well I won't play most of the games I buy, but I just can't pass up the opportunity to buy a really good game I might get around to someday for five bucks. Then do that fifty more times. Then remember I don't really have a steady income.

Just for the heck of it, here's a funny comic that I linked to on this site a year ago.

That is a good point. I suppose because you can't really ponify the Kaiju, and the Jaegers are really nothing new for the fandom. I mean, they've done Giant Robot's before.

They could always ponify GLaDOS again.

And now, let's see... what video game should I play now? Dark Souls or continue in Bioshock Infinite?

Pickory of course!

So I've been reading this amazing webcomic Unsounded for a few hours and I just realized I've been mentally hearing Applebloom's voice for the main girl.

I miss video games so damn much.

I remember reading about a submarine simulator once that was supposed to be played by sound. Did you ever try that?

Yeah, I've played various audio games, and some are fun. But a lot of the multiplayer's bunk because the fanbase is fairly small. There'salso a lack of interest as the few devellopers out there work in solo or very small teams at best.

I've actually considered that.

But right now I don't have the motivation. There's a Doom game that uses a reportedly fairly painless engine, so it might be a place to start. It could certainly use work, the maps are a mess and there's many cheap ways of dying.
