Greetings everyone. Depression strikes again.

I found out yesterday from my opthamologist that the cataracts in my eyes have gotten too thick to safely remove. I'd always had some hope before that I still had enough time to try and get them removed, but I guess my parents waited too long to help.

I'm more resigned than anything. I knew it would happen and it's not like there was much to lose anyway. I'll still have limited color and light perception, but in about 6 months I'll no longer have a frame of distance, depth, or clarity.
