@Hsere: While it's reasonable to think that given those observations, I really don't think that is the way it will pan out. Despite the talk of change there is also this reassurance that things aren't changing. I think while some things might change, the tone, and general format of the show will remain unchanged, at least for this season.

@Hsere: Well I hope you're right, I'd love for the show to have more of a main plot.

I expect that, but if they can find ways to use the princess angle to their advantage instead of it just kinda sitting around not being used I'd be happy. They don't immediately have to jump into the Super Important Princess Stuff immediately.

And in terms of things not changing, I'd assume it has more to do with her coronation not disrupting the central relationships any great deal.

Considering previous patterns we will probably have Super Important Princess Stuff come first, then everything goes back to normal till the season finale in which we may get the return of Super Important Princess Stuff or something completely different.

Or just a slow trickle of SIPS (hey, nice acronym) throughout, and a whole puddle of it at the end. That's my expectation.

Aw screw it. I'm abandoning the pony game idea. It's bad enough that there isn't a program out there that lets you get by without learning to code, but when the code that the program tutorial gives you kicks out fatal errors, it has officially become not worth learning.

Sips and Sails move to Ponyville in season 4. There is an episode dedicated to Snips and Snails wondering why the new kids are so much more popular than them, which sets off a two-episode arc about Snips and Snails trying to become popular. Rumble joins them. it's a Poorly Disguised Pilot for a Snips and Snails series in the vein of Ed, Edd n Eddy

I don't think so, pony comics rarely come out at the beginning of the month.

Issue 9 will be available at Comic Con (July 18-21) and will probably be released the 24th or 31th, the Applejack Micro is expected to release on July 11 according to iTunes

They're usually released in two-week intervals: Main, then micro, then main. The Pinkie Micro came out a couple weeks ago now, but I think it might have been early. I dunno for sure, though.

You know, if I were making the decision, I'd say that Applejack presents a better set of reasons by the sole virtue of leading to helping more than one other person than herself, whereas Rainbow Dash's reasoning is purely about her own self, i.e. selflessness/altruism trumps selfishness.

Alright, let me guess: AJ and RD are going to be butting heads and having hoof wrestling matches a lot more than any other Mane 6 pair, aren't they? And Pinkie Pie will almost always get at least one song into any episode that she features in?
