I just had a thought...a good partner for Pinkie would be a weird but oddly straight pony, who's just as crazy and as random as Pinkie...but who takes everything very seriously.

Anyway, since Fluttershy's parents and fanon were topics last page anyone have any speculation on any of the other parents of the Mane 6 and the relationship with their kids? I'll throw out some stuff I think.

Applejack's Parents: I'm honestly tempted to go with the popular fanon that they are dead, but that would be exceedingly unlikely in the context of the show, so they are probably off helping out other members of the Apple family in Equestria.

Rainbow Dash: For some reason I get the feeling that RD has a very sour relationship with her parents. I think they wouldn't exactly be to happy with the fact that their daughter dropped out of flight school and probably had a very bad disciplinary record. I also wouldn't be surprised if her parents were divorced. No real reason for that last bit of speculation except that it feels right to me.

I'm honestly hope that is not what the writers are going for. They have used that twice with Rarity and Pinkie Pie and I would prefer that not be a hard and fast rule.
