I've been thinking about possible villains for season 2 and if they do anything as serious as Nightmare Moon (I don't know if you could really call THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE! or Gilda villians, ) I'm thinking they may be weilders of "The Six Elements of Discord." 1. Deceit 2. Cruelty. 3. um... Evil Laughter? Screaming? 4. Selfishness. 5. Treachery. 6. Uhhh... Technology? String Theory? Whatever Rodney McKay was doing that time he blew up 5/6ths of a solar system?

Of course with the "Four Stars Aiding In Her Esacpe" thing floating around I'm still hoping for Apocalypse Ponies.

Also, this popped up when I Googled "Element of Harmony."

And then there could be a story arc where Princess Celestia is locked in a mirror by the Shadowlords, and then Luna takes over the thrown and makes the Elements of Harmony the letter of the law, leading to a fascist state until Twilight Sparkle and her friends manage to destroy the Shadowlords by finding shards of Mondain's gem...

Sorry, but when I read descriptions like that I feel compelled to make obscure computer game references.

On a more serious note, I really do not think this series needs "villains, " and especially not "evil" counterparts to the heroes. I honestly think a Genre Shift back to being an adventure series could very well be this show's undoing.

So, I don't know if this was asked at all, but any songs from this show stuck in anyone's head? Cause I don't. NO siree. Winter Wrap Up isn't constantly playing in my head like a Madness Mantra.

She's an evil ENCHANTRESS she does evil DANCES, and if you look deep in her EYES she will put you in TRANCES...

Actually, while out grocery shopping I found myself constantly singing the show's theme song. So there's that.

Pretty much every song from the show, though "Winter Wrap-Up" and "Art of the Dress" especially so...

I pretty much have a tab open to Winter Wrap Up at all times, so I can listen to it at a moments notice.

I also like a lot of instrumental versions of songs people put together, like this guy.

And now you've put it in mine again. So we're even.

I've never had any sort of problem with ear worms in this show. I can't remember the lyrics of any songs except for the Pinkie Pie/Tigertron performance of "Evil Enchantress." On the other hand I do enjoy watching Vinyl Scratch AKA DJ P0N-3 mix up some tunes like so.

I'd like to see her do something with either Ultra or Back To Mad.

And now Vinyl Scratch has put the catwalk music in my head again!

I came up with idea for an epic fanfic that has a similar atmosphere to the first two episodes. An third Pegasus/Earth/Unicorn pony, this one a male, takes over Canterlot with an army of ponies while Celestia is away, and the main cast must help Celestia regain her throne. There's also a romance subplot between a new guard pony and Fluttershy.

Any opinions?

well, it sounds interesting to me, but I'd be careful with the romance subplot - for some reason, people don't seem to like shipping outside the mane cast, as far as I can tell.

I almost PM'ed her the idea, then thought "Wait...what if she doesn't approve?" and didn't.

who, Faust? I recall reading that she - and I suppose creators in general - either don't like or straight up aren't allowed to read fanfiction or ideas, because if something similar happened in the show, there could be legal issues. Howevetr I've also seen her say that's she's flattered by all of the fics being written, so take from that what you will.
