And then they go back in time and get eaten by dinosaurs. And then in vent giant polar bear lasers or some such (Didn't play the third)

Yeah, I think that it'd be interesting to see a Changeling who tried to get into an actual relationship. The major hurdle would be finding someone who could love him back, knowing what he is.

One thing the EQG trailer reminds me of is just how good the team are at background details and incidental stuff. And how characterization informs the animation. Just look at RD throughout.
I like to think that Changelings aren't too harmful either.

OK, Tumblra, now.

@crow: How long until we get the generic version? I wouldn't want to have to pay brand medicine prices for every changeling.

There are several off-brand versions. But I hear that Doppelganger just doesn't work as well, and Succubus has some... embarrassing side-effects.

Maybe the Changeling force at Canterlot was a splinter faction considered terrorists by the main hive. The difference is that the rest of the changelings just infiltrate and live, whereas the invasion force were seeking to conquer and subjugate, including other disguised changelings.
I think that should get explored. Someone has to teach about splinter extremist factions and terrorism.

The post is above this line. You would do well to look up.
A cannon loaded with gems charged by exposure to the Elements of Harmony. Each gem allows the cannon to fire a single blast with the effects of the Elements.

@Steven: The funny thing is, I do remember Blissy mentioning a fanfic that revealed that Chrysailis and her minions were just one particular hostile changeling hive, with another group of changelings trying to proove to Celestia and the public that their whole race isn't evil.
@Superweapons
Elements of Harmony. That was their superweapon in an RTS I wanted to make where it was the
Earth's Governments versus
a militarised Anonymous versus the
Alternian Trolls versus the
Equestrian Expeditionary Force versus a
technocratic Middle East/African superstate versus
the Komato Imperial Army.

I meant the changeling race at large, not a hive mind.

Couldn't even have a splintered faction with a hive mind.

It was basically three human factions versus three alien factions who all fight each other.

I don't think they have a hivemind, but I think it's still cool to immagine them having some insect like tendencies.
