Yup, this reminds me of my AJ human pic. I had no idea why that was being downvoted all to hell because no one was saying anything. That's the worst-case scenario, really. You know people dislike it but you don't know why.
I rememeber when I got my first random downvote on Stack Overflow. After a while you get used to it, but it's crsuhing for a newbie.

Not to derail this into another MMDW discussion, but I've always found that the problems were more in the execution than in the premise. I don't really think any of the events that occurred were OOC, it's just that the sequence of what happened wasn't written as well as it could have been. I'm still not a big fan of the episode, but not for the reasons that a lot of people have.
The other cracks in the universe were caused by the remaining Eldritch Glyph corruptors, Sweethoggua and Apple-Sathla

Hey, happy birthday, marsy-person.
MMDW is more reasonable when you interpert it as taking place over a longer period of time like I do.

The entire setting simply felt way way to OOC. Not just the characters. nothing about it felt like the rest of the series.
Yeah, I don't get the hate.
It's flawed but still enjoyable, like Feeling Pinkie Keen.

Yeah, the only problem with FPK was a badly worded moral.
And the gags weren't that funny.

Wait, they admitted to it?
I can respect that. As an Atheist the moral just really bothered me.

I see the flaw in that moral, but I enjoyed the episode.

Yeah Lauren admitted that the way the moral was delivered made it not come out the way she meant for it to sound.
For me it was the premise more than anything. Badly worded or not, having faith and trusting your friends despite the ods is a good moral.
But I was bothered with the episode because Twilight was depicted negatively for wanting to study and understand Pinkie's ability. It came off more as a case of
Dude, Not Funny!.
And that sums up my feelings on the matter.

I think the moral should have been about keeping an open mind. Twilight wasn't really acting scientifically since she was trying to prove her existing beleifs rather than find out what is true.
