...It was only one pancake. I mean, I'm pissed, but I'm not that pissed. Not unless this becomes a regular thing. Though granted if it does, I now have some good ideas. Convoluted as it is I do kinda enjoy the idea of the Deathnote option.

Breadboard components tend to be pretty cheap at electronics stores too. You might have to drop a few bucks for the buzzer, but the other components are like, a dollar or less apiece.

To open it yourself without setting it off, you can slide a card into the box to block the photocell as you open it.

And I finished Ultra Fast Pony. I rank it second of the abridged series. Way better than Friendship is Witchcraft, not quite as good as Mentally Advanced Series.
