We ever had Derpy? She'd be right at home in here.

Of course.

What do you expect when you write stuff that can be misinterperted by immagining different punctuation?

@Fluttershy being lurker, waiting to experiment: Fluttershy, if it comes down to it, I'll take one for the team. You desire experimentation data, and I desire a good combing, so we both win.

Speaking of, where is Lightning Dust? Been years since I've seen her.

Can't say I wouldn't be tempted to make a sock puppet. Though the results would more than likely be laughable.

Oh hey, refershing the page doesn't bring me back to my most recent post. That's a big +1 for Chrome over Firefox right there.

That's in the url. after hitting post, the url is set to take you to what you just posted.

the url becomes

...page=(page number)#(post number)

and if you just hit refresh it does the same thing, takes you to your post. The browser you use really shouldn't have any effect on that.

for normal refreshing, just delete the post number part.

@ Blissey: For the past several months, with Firefox, refreshing the page takes me back to the last post I made on the page, regardless of where I've scrolled to or how many people have posted after me. This only happens on TV Tropes, BTW.

This isn't happening with Chrome, which makes me smile.

[up][up]exactly. as long as you have the same url with the (post number) section, it will do exactly what you are describing, no matter how many time you refresh or how many people have posted since.

I don't understand how using a different browser would change that since it's still the same url.

I don't understand either, but I like the way Chrome is handling it. It's the way Firefox used to act.

The big question is, which browser is correct?

Anyway, if you'd just use a posting script like a normal person you wouldn't have to worry about stuff like that.
