Well, Fixing Up Miss Smartpants paired up Rarity and Dash. Granted, it was a comedy and a "pair up EVERYONE!" fic, but it justified this particular pairing by showing that Rarity fell for Dash right after the rescue from "Sonic Rainboom".

Hey. Going down to the office today to sign in for that job. Need to get out of the house. The witch has completely lost it. She's raging against us all (me, my brother and father, the whole family) for ostracising her. Basically she's doing her classic 'how dare you call me out for all the bad shit I've done' routine.

It's actually kind of funny in a way. She's basically saying yeah 'I lie, I attack you, I bully, I steal and I use emotional blackmail against you all', but you all are making me really really bad about it and you have to stop because its ruining my life.

She's unhinged. An unhinged sociopath.

Using the old "It's your fault I'm this way" tactic. Accusing all of you of ostracizing her, while doing even more to ostracize herself. I don't know how you put up with it, Apple, or how you've managed to turn out so well.

I don't know if you're just signing in for the job or interviewing today, but good luck all the same. I wouldn't be in any hurry to return to that house, today or ever.

Actually, they say adversity in younger life can make you a better person. Because you have to fight to get ahead and that builds character. That and you can fight back saying no I won't let this ruin me. It's certainly what I did/am still doing.

Has anyone tried to get her psychiatric help, or does she just think it's everyone else who has a problem?

She says that yes, I am all that, but it's what I am, and I'm not changing, so you should just learn to deal with it. Oh and we're the bad guys for not endulging her. We once suggested perfessional help. She tried to hit us all then threatened to hang herself. Which was actually a false threat of course. My mum isn't crazy, she's sick. She knows how to work people. All this? This is to break our spirits so that she can have her own way again.

My aunts tell me she was like that as a child and teenager. Throwing temper tanturms, stealing, using emotional abuse to get her way. She hounded her father into giving her everything at any cost. Basically, she's a tyrant and nobody ever put her in her place until I did at age nineteen. That's why she hates me the most.

Sorry to pile on in terms of sadness, but the creative director I worked under for 3 years has left after 17 years in this company. She was one of the best people I ever worked with. She was more than just a boss. She became a friend to me, and to many people. I feel absolutely wrecked that she's gone, but at least I got to say goodbye to her.

And at the end of a long day too. Ugh, I'm so tired.

I guess I didn't really know her that long, but, yeah, it seemed so much longer. I didn't work under her until a bit later, but it was the best working relationship I had with anyone.
