I hate to beat a dead horse with a sledgehammer, but there's been something I've been wondering about for some time now: Honestly, what was the point of even having the Pony Dot Mov series be a parody of Mlp Fim? It has next to nothing to do with ponies on top of all the other flaws, and if you changed the names around virtually nothing would have been lost. Would it have even been so popular if it had not even anything remotely to do with ponies?

Speaking of, anyone notice a lot of Pinkiedash fics as of late? It seems everywhere I go they keep popping up.
Which is why I enjoy Green quite a bit. Aside from Rareshy, the other's are somewhat unconventional with Pinkielight and Appledash. And Fluttershy and Rarity are written fairly well as a couple.

Well, I've been pretty slow, but I finally finished up another tiny little 3.2k word fic and made my own cover image

Anyone miss that aspect of Twi? Yes, some of her scenes were a bit shoehorned in season 1, but her constant interactions and playing off the characters reinforced the theme of friendship.
She still very much does, but it seems outside of plot-critical or dramatic episodes I.E. slice of life, she doesn't seem to be hanging around her friends anymore.

Her role in making all the Mane 6 get their cutie marks also put her in the central "Harem Lead" position by the standards of any bishoujo game :V
Fluttershy is the osanajimi. Twi is the cute librarian/class rep. AJ is the tomboy farmgirl rival. Rarity is the pretty ojou, and Pinkie is the genki one.
Twi isn't the lone central character now, the focus won't be on her all the time.

Which reminds me, I was looking through some translated Japanese comments on a sub, and a nickname for the Cutie Mark Chronicles is the Rainbow harem episode because everything she does relates to her friends. Which lead into an amusing discussion about interpreting the episode as a visual novel.
