What are you talking about? Sure it had a few flaws, but it had the party cannon firing harmony-powered friendship lasers at the griffon army. Pure cmoa.

Of course, I'm still waiting for them to finish the current story arc, but I'm sure it'll be up there, too. The fact that Celestia and Luna are immortal because they have phylacteries ought to be important before the finale.

Personally, I think that's a red herring. Those are actually power limiters, the princesses can't destroy them themselves, so they're trying to trick their enemies into destroying them by making them think they're phylacteries.

Spike figured out another way to get Rarity to pay him in gems.

Even as a human, Twilight can't keep a secret.

Sombra is FABULOUS.

[up]x4 And how about that episode where it's revealed that Ponyville was an elaborate prison and re-education center for dissidents and former members of the intelligence community and that over half the background ponies were actually guards? A lot of folks reckon that's where the whole thing jumped the shark, but not only did I find it a hell of a revelation, I thought it was pretty clever nod. Though now knowing who the administrator is, Pinkie's knowledge of everyone in Ponyville takes on a more sinister quality.

I preferred the one where it turned out that Spike is actually Twilight's imaginary friend rendered "real" by an illusion spell. The Frankie Foster background pony was a nice touch.

i think the episode where the Cab Calloway pony showed up and sang "Minnie The Moocher" uncensored was a major GCPR moment for the series.

^^ Does it count if the episodes haven't actually made it to air yet, though?

[up]The coffee mug is what really makes it.
Until you have a MAJORITY of the fans screaming and damning the creators to hell for what they're doing wrong, it's not a real fandom.

Yes, the first time.

But when we found out what the "endless" part of "endless party" meant? Watching it a fifth time was just grating.
I have a message from another time...
