I don't get the dislike some seem to have for OAB. I thought it was a great episode and one of the top 5 in season 1.

Well, that might explain why I'm not good with humour.

I tend to have a very sarcastic streak, but that doesn't seem to translate well to writing.

Well some people don't like it because the land issues hit too close to home. I'm not sure why other people don't like it.

Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

@Dark/Story: I have a couple reasons I don't like it, none of which have anything to do with real life implications (which I think were totally unintentional.

1. I don't really like any of the characters the episode introduced (especially Braeburn; I do not understand why he's so popular). Little Strongheart is okay, and Cheif Thunderhooves is... there.

2. The mane cast honestly doesn't contribute much to the plot of the episode; I feel like you could have removed most of their influence and it would have played out in much the same way.

3. The resolution was unsatisfying. Not the fact that they compromised; that was fine, but the fact that they only stumbled across the solution completely by chance rather than due to anyone actually learning anything. The conflict was only resolved due to Chief Thunderhooves inadvertently tasting the pie.

I know. Adventure Time really threw me for a loop with all those feels. That was honestly the last show I was expecting depth out of. Not that I'm complaining, mind you.
