I sorta look my age without a beard, but I look 25 with it. I've been mistaken for a last year student at my uni with it.

Also, drinking, driving and marrying age here are all the same, and they're 18.

Also also, I've been getting more pagetoppers than usual. Must be the new avvie.

This is why I hate America's stupidly strict drinking laws and being 19. Seriously, you can sign up to join the army, but you can't have a drink?

I'm in the opposite position as I have no desire to drink even though I can now.

Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

Same here. The only alcoholic drinks I like are the ones where I can't really taste the alcohol anyway.

On the topic of facial hair, if you guys didn't see from the hangout, I do have a beard and 'stache, and let's just say I take pride in the mustache.

The manager said the photo ID wasn't good enough; I needed a driver's license. I told him I'd been served before. He said I shouldn't have been. I left, and have never returned.

Now that is ridiculous, and probably illegal. Not everyone can or wants to get a drivers liscence. By law, they're required to accept other forms of id. I don't know if the one you had is one of the legal ones, but there are definitely alternatives.

The only thing I know about drinking is that: I legally can't, wine coolers taste pretty good, Mike's Hard Lemonade tastes like lemony windex, and warm beer tastes like piss.

Also, yeah, I think as long as it's a valid id, it's good.
