the piercing is actually part of a set. One part is in my OC's ear, and you really don't want to know where the third piece of the set is.

The piercings are links that let the ponies sort of feel each others emotions. Sera/Silver/Knyght (the other pony, and the one who came up with the idea) have a three way link since they kind of sort of, technically have foals together. It makes sense in context.

Going a little off topic briefly, I've now learned not to trust anything hyped on the wiki. Just checked out chunks of the Final Fantasy 7 ost and I'm less than impressed.
