The other day, Twilight Sparkle visited me. She said she was real, but I couldn't believe it. When she kept on insisting, I told her to bite me.
In retrospect, it was a pretty bad idea.

Well there was a pretty neat fic where RD and Twi have a writing contest to see who could write the best romance novel. Twi's was a massive beast full of Purple Prose and overly explaining every single detail. RD's, was just a slash fic between her and the writer of the Daring Do series, who in that story, was Twilight's mom.

Pity it didn't include the rest of the cast members. There are a ton of ways you could explore each pony's writing style. Rarity's prose would probably be even more purple than Twilight's.

nether won, it was the other Mane 6 doing the judging, and they agreed they were both bad. The funniest part was them trying to argue over who was going to tell Dash that Twi's mom was the author she had just pretty much written porn of.
And yeah Rarity would be far worse on that, but she couldn't beat Twi's details, like down to exactly how fast each ponies heart was beating, every single possible little details of every things, including about ten pages just detailing the history of the bridge the two lovers were meeting on.

Relax, the fic didn't actually HAVE any graphic scenes, just enough to give you the jist of how each pony was writing.
