Really? What specifically was contradictory? I didn't notice anything when reading it, though to be fair I didn't read it over a dozen times like the earlier books.
I don't remember the details but it's easy to miss unless you really think about it.
IIRC, the main problem is that Snape was stated to have been a helpful spy during the first reign of Voldemort, which isn't possible if Voldemort's murder of Lily is what caused him to switch to the good side.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

I would absolutely love it if we get a flashback at some point of Shining helping filly Twi build a book fort. Or just adult Twi building a book fort, I'm not picky.
@story: I thought the order of events was that Snape realized Voldemort was targeting the Potters, and started helping the Order to try to keep her safe. Granted that does sound like a pretty short time frame, but I don't think we know how long passed between Voldy deciding to kill the Potters and when he actually found them.

@Crow: D'aww. I'm now picturing something that involves knights, princesses, and a baby Spike as the dragon guarding the fort.
Edit: Thinking back on characters that need to develop, there really needs to be more interaction with Shining Armor and Spike.

Pretty sure there's a custom map that takes place in an enormous house, including huge books.
And Fluttershy would try to play the flute or something, but it turns out she's really talented at playing the saxophone, and the rest of the band wants her to play a solo.

Well I don't like some of the choices made in Deathly Hallows, but I don't see any other outright contradictions.
