Seriously, I don't even know what's with that thread anymore. I've checked in a couple times and they're almost never talking about Homestuck.
Well, the main topic of conversation is their attempt to collaborate on a fan adventure. Inventing an alien race in another universe, and have them play S___b.
This is mixed in with asides about whatever videogames anyone happens to be playing.

Hey, folks, question. I heard that Alex S., a fan musician, has been getting some shit from fans since he declared himself no longer a brony, just someone who likes the show. What do you guys think of that? Is that a distinction that can be made?
I'm 8ad, and that's good. I will never 8e good, and that's not 8ad. 8ecause there's no one I'd rather 8e... than me.

Well, if he still likes the show, I figure it doesn't really matter if he chooses to wear the label or not. Some people (referring to the people giving him issues) can be silly about that kind of thing, apparently.

@Red: I don't think there is a distinction, but he's not the only one who makes one and if they decide that they want to, fine.

I mean, personally I know exactly what he's talking about. I don't consider myself a brony anymore, certainly; there are negative elements of the fandom I don't want to be associated with, and even the normal, decent fans turn me off of the fandom sometimes.
