In some places Cider is not necessarily alcoholic (mostly in North America).

So apparently they grow grapes and keep sheep on Sweet Apple Acres. Jeez is threr any thing that farm doesn't have?

They fooled me all the way though... I didn't relise it was Rarity until the show told us. I don't have the best attention to detail it seems.

Hell, it was worth it just for Applebloom's belches.

Sweet apple acres gets their grapes from Berry Punch who asks for free samples of "grape juice" as payment.

A bit of hyperbole on my part, but I have seen some pretty heated arguments on Eq D. I'm not sure about anywhere else though.

A CRISIS might be overstating it; there are some people bitching about how the show has Jossed Dinky being Ditzy's daughter, even though it really hasn't. It's not like fillies couldn't do the thing with other female relatives if they don't have literal sisters. Heck, it's not like anypony blinked an eye at Applejack and Sweetie Belle doing the race together.

Yeah, the simplest explanation is that Dinky isn't Ditzy's daughter, but there are plenty of ways to explain otherwise.

@Red: General consensus seems to be "plotline isn't that original, but it's handled really well". It lacks the "HOLY CRAP THAT WAS AWESOME" punch that Lesson Zero and Luna Eclipsed had, but it's a sold episode. Most of the complaining is either due to perceived Fanon issues, or Luna Eclipsed being a Tough Act to Follow.
