First it was Berry Pinch, then it became sometimes Ruby Pinch. "Ruby" is less confusing than having a mother and daughter both named "Berry" I guess.

Technically she has no "actual name", like most background ponies

The tumblr blog

uses Ruby Pinch, but she's had several other names like Berry Blast and Berry Pinch, but that blog seems to be popularizing Ruby Pinch and its the main source of Berry's daughter fanon as far as I know.

Also, Rarity's father's cutie mark is a trio of American footballs, like one of the Pegasi jocks. If he's a unicorn, man wouldn't that be cheating big time?

Dinky Doo which everybody believes to be her daughter Was shown with an older sister who was a purple unicorn. How different they look could actually reaffirm that dinky was fathered by a sperm donor. however Carrot Top who I think is Drpy's/Dizy's wife was also shown with a little sister Dinky's age. I don't know how to work that into my fan theory

This was a cute episode. My least favourite of Season 2 as I thought likely, but still enjoyable.

Applejack got to be pretty cool and Rarity covering herself in mud for her sister was nice.

As for Rarity's athleticism, I think that it's pretty established that physically, even the most pathetic pony is far more athletic than you are.
