It occurs to me that "Twilicorn" makes absolutely no sense as a shorthand.
Not a single letter in there differentiates it from a name you could use to refer to

As regarding the Twilight and Spike relationship, I prefer to think it's a mother/son relationship with a bit of sisterly teasing thrown in. It just seams fitting. In any case, I couldn't see the scene in the Crystal Empire part 2 as anything other than motherly seeing how much concern Spike had for Twilight when the illusion spell made him believe she was abandoning him.
The rest of the Mane Six more than likely see him in more of an annoying little brother type.
Whatever the relationship, he really deserves more respect come next season. His butt monkey status is really coming off as sad rather than funny given the ratio of disrespect/respect over all.
