Hearth's Warming Eve: A Princess Promenade touches on that, among a bunch of other themes. Discord doesn't show up until the story is half over, but he plays a big part in the ending.

Read it. It's pretty good. But A: That's not really a major part of the fic

B: I was looking for something where Discord is a bit less ... competent and/or willing about it and that only had like ... a few lines of that.

-slinks in- Gah... back from the windy and boggy run to the forest. I hate the weather in my area right now. I think the weather pegasi have me on their top ten most wanted.

...and I see I missed Lyra... whew... she was going to ask me about the artificial hands for sure I think... (I did find it odd I had a dream with Lyra once... though it was a crossover with another game, and she had a gunslinger and a power glove and made it work. Makes me wonder if Lyra has a dream about gloves that actually work as hands.)
