Being on the subject of Zelda I couldn't not post this.

Scootaloo has the Chicken Infested flaw.

I personally think Scootaloo's flaw is more a Cursed with Awesome than anything else really. I admittedly want to take her home, as well as Applebloom and Sweetie Belle. (So I'm a sucker for fillies... I'm not alone on that boat, right?)

Edit: Also, I have Scootaloo being pestered = cucco swarm as headcanon now.

Whoops! I knew I was forgetting something in this post... The chicken-infestation flaw seems more awesome than cursey as if the assailant does not stop bugging you, you'll suddenly have an army to peck the foe to their doom!

How is Scootaloo Cursed with Awesome?

"Good morning, neighbor."

I lied down for a nap and had this really weird dream about Discord.

Discord was doing some crazy stuff, I think Gilda and Garble and his cronies were involved. But something went wrong and he got bit by a manta ray (can manta rays even bite?), causing him to develop a phobia of manta rays. So everyone started giving him shit about being afraid of something because, come on, he's a chaos god! But Discord can't really help it and becomes all depressed. And Pinkie decides it's her job to try to cheer him back up.

so then the dream ended in this final scene. Discord went out to this really deep gorge that has a wood bridge going over it, and is sitting on this log sticking out the side of the bridge over the middle of the gorge, just hanging around being mopey. Pinkie, from the bridge, goes on a random rant kind of like chimicherrychanga, because Discord is supposed to like randomness. But Discord just shuts her up and asks what the point of it all is and why is she even here and that she should just go away.

undeterred, Pinkie venture out onto the log to join Discord on his precarious perch. Her insistence really annoys Discord, and he shakes the log and knocks her off. As Piknie is falling to her apparent death, she just looks up sadly at Discord. She's not worried about the whole falling thing because she knows that Discord won't actually let anything bad happen to her. Sure enough, Discord sighs and snaps his fingers, and Pinkie appears right next to him on the log.

and then I woke up.

I think there's a fic in there somewhere...

First thing I thought of was Wilson from Home Improvement. Of course, if that were the case, you wouldn't be able to see Twilight's face.

Does anyone else believe that Discord was truly redeemed?

I didn't think he was redeemed for a second.

Otherwise, I just can't reconcile the Discord from The Return of Harmony with the Discord from Keep Calm and Flutter On.

I doubt he's 'redeemed'. Just like I doubt he was ever truly evil in the first place - he's Chaotic Neutral more than anything, really. He did what he did because he found pleasure in seeing the chaos he wrought, and he stopped doing it because he took more pleasure in being able to have a personal acquaintance in it. Notice how in Return of Harmony he immediately latched onto Twilight as his audience, and seemed buddy-buddy enough with Celestia that it's fair to assume he may have done the same with her in the past. He forced them to be his audience, so he couldn't really gratify himself from it, but he still needed that audience to some greater or lesser degree, if only to have the eventual pleasure of breaking them - in a way you could say their reaction was his end game. He got pretty bored-looking when Twilight stopped playing along. I imagine that Fluttershy simply happened to be an easier, perhaps more potent form of that gratification.

Maybe he redeemed like Belkar from OOTS
