By the way, I got volumes 3 and 4 of the comic today, I actually really liked the way that final fight concluded.
Ordinarially, Chrysalis is stronger. They both got the same level of power from the comet, but Chrysalis was defeated because, just as in A Canterlot Wedding, she doesn't understand the forces she's playing with. Twilight won, because she knew how to use the power. It wasn't raw strength, but rather knowledge, that let her win. I love that kinda thing.
I have a message from another time...
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.
Who gets to decide what's pornographic and what isn't?
Once the "porn" is removed, what's to stop them from going after anything else they deem "offensive"? It's a slippery slope.
Not that I think CISPA has much chance of actually being enacted. We'll just have to wait and see.
What does CISPA have to do with porn?
Speaking of porn, I came across a DVD on my libraries DVD rack today which had a big sticker saying that it could only be viewed in the library viewing room due to its explicit nature.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
I opposed SOPA and PIPA and also oppose CISPA.
The thing is that unlike SOPA nad PIPA, CISPA at least has good aims. The problem is that it doesn't have strong enough privacy protections.

I thought you get a tax break if you send them in with glitter and stickers. And what do you mean, the government doesn't accept IOU's?
Oh, no! They've all transformed into giant, Swedish, lederhosen-clad yodelers! Run!
I figure they just let Twilight do all the taxes.

It would be the perfect fit for her OCD tendencies. Well not good for her, but she'd certainly get into it.

Applejack would just lose her sanity by page 4.
Zagreus sits inside your head, Zagreus lives among the dead.
Zagreus sees you in your bed, And eats you when you're sleeping.
That's why Big Macintosh does the Apple family taxes.
I'm not sure that counts as fancy mathematics. All taxes require is adding, subtracting, and occasionally multiplying. The real challenge is figuring out all the instructions and getting everything organized.

@Story: Applejack was upset by one plus one.
I'm 8ad, and that's good. I will never 8e good, and that's not 8ad. 8ecause there's no one I'd rather 8e... than me.
She can at least count to six, though. We know that much.
Land sakes! You're HUUUUUUUUGE!

Personally I think Big Mac handles the taxes at Sweet Apple Acres.
