Fair warning on that one, the later chapters become very dependent on memes for humor. I found it really annoying, but your tolerance for them might be different.
Reminds me of
Progress. Especially that bit where Celestia randomly says 'Just according to plan'.

My main gripe with referential humor is that often if you don't know the reference, then there is no humor. That, and it tends to dominate works that use it that way. I actually can't recall any specific references from your story, and its more original stuff is why I keep reading.
What's weird is when I'm reading
HP Mor because it's so full of references, only a fraction of which I get, that I often feel like something is supposed to be a reference that I don't recognize. Anyone know the significance of that one play they discuss with the floo mishap and sacrifice?

just read first chapter, and now i'm off to bed.
good night guys.
you're stronger than you think you are.
Good night, crimson.
Well, I better go to bed too. G'night, folks.
That's one thing that Derpy and the bronies have in common: they were not supposed to exist. -crimsonstorm15
I finally got a chance to see the latest Hot Minute. One thing I'm wondering - Was the Hot Minute thing created to promote
Fi M? Is it something they've done before with other shows/people?

The latest chapter had a Robert A. Heinlein reference (wholesale ripoff)
I did notice that. My reaction was "this looks like a copy/paste of that one trope page", but I still enjoyed it because it actually works even if you don't know it's a direct quote.

Oh, no! They've all transformed into giant, Swedish, lederhosen-clad yodelers! Run!
I think it's best if you can work in the references so they seem natural and not even like references, but tha's usually hard to do.
Also just say a bit of the English dub of
Power Puffgirls Z. That's certainly a ... thing that exists.

The apocalypse has had an apocalypse!
I noticed on several occasions that when Twilight's body shifted slightly, her wings didn't move with her.

Oh, that obviously wasn't show animation. But that short clip of her attempting to fly was a bit too high quality not to be.
I agree. That looked like a real clip from the show. I watched it over and over, probably with a stupid grin on my face.

Praise to Itempas, Dayfather, Brightlord
I should try to get some sleep before then.

The first HD remake of a Pony fan game. hm.
Bronies must have been rushing Akinator like crazy, at this point he just seems to assume you're going for a MLP character. I can't get to the third question without him asking about hooves or something.
