Nah, Cadance is the distant descendant of the remaining deposed Royal Family of the Crystal Kingdom :V

Lunaverse!alicorns only come into existence under extreme circumstances, nd that was decided before season 3.

As for the bearers being musicians, I'm pleased because writing stories involving music is the author's specialty. She mostly writes about Lunaverse!Octavia (who is fascinting) so I'm glad that Cadance!Octavia is Honesty. Especially as I was one of the first to note that Lunaverse!Octavia seems like a bearer of honesty, so I'm hoping that she'll be similar to her Lunaverse counterpart.

@Sereg: well my fanon says Cadance is basically pony Anastasia/Carrot, only her ancestors didn't get horribly murdered by Bolsheviks.

Lunaverse!fanon is most certainly not automatically my fanon and Cadance's past and the nature of alicorns are cases of me disagreeing with the Lunaverse.

That doesn't stop me from liking the stories.

There's a few first stories. There's Boast Busted which was the first released, the equivalent of the first episode and I guess the first chronologically is the Cadance story I believe.

Er... Badwolf mentioned three. Boast Busted; Longest Night, Longest Day and An Early Reunion.

Oc ourse, my favourite Lunaverse fic is Symphony for Moon and Sun which I think justifies the entire verse by itself and whichwas written by the author who is making the Cadanceverse spin-off. And I think you could read it mostly by itself. Possibly might need to read Musicians and Dreamers first and maybe its webisode.
