Eh, it rhymes and has a rhythm to it, so that sounds kinda fake.
What would you guess the other ponies last names are? Applejack Apple? Fluttershy?

Rarity Belle has a nice ring to it.
I analyze "Geek Culture" here.

I stand by my hypothesis that Fluttershy has eight middle names and her established identity is actually an acronym (acponym?) for her full name.

I say Ponies only have one name unless proven otherwise.
There is nothing more offensive than science.

That fits into my headfanon that she came from a rich family, but her parents disowned her after she failed flight school and began living like a hippie.

That seems odd. So some people have last names and others don't?
Extra clever/Earthbound spirit/Ghost in the form/Of a mongoose
I came up with one a few pages back.
Francesca Louisa Ualani Theresa Tagioalisi Etherea Rhianna Sophia Hadara Yellowstar.
Three are from other languages and two I just made up.

It's not a 'first name' 'last name' thing, It's all ponies have only one name, but some of them have names that are two or more words long.

Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
Its triple-barelled names that bother me. Weird to read, and seems pompous.
Which probably
could fit as a name for Rarity, if there's more to it. And maybe Bluelood.
You can't stop what's coming.
The names you made up are probably more reasonable than the ones based on reality.
Pink is like a form of
red but gayer. Thus
The law of chromatic superiority is doubled.
Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho? Maybe.

Actually: guessing game. Which names are from non-English languages, and which did I make up? You get bonus points if you can identify the one I pinched from
Schlock Mercenary.

Does anyone else share my headfanon about Fluttershy coming from a rich family? I find it hard to believe a shy animal caretaker who lives in a cottage near the woods would know about French haute couture without some kind of odd background.

I sort of like the idea... except for the fact that I extremely don't like the thought that her parents 'disowned' her, or are ashamed of her. The fact that she's rich might go a bit of ways towards explaining her shy personality (high society, keep quiet type thing), but I'm sure her parents would be fully supportive of her no matter what. One way or another, that sweet personality of hers has to come from somewhere.

"Oh Celestia! Is that a rabbit in this house?!"
Eh, I can see an episode where the Mane 6 try and get Fluttershy and her parents to reconcile, but Fluttershy is freaking out. In the end, it turns out her parents missed her and have accepted her for what she is.
Extra clever/Earthbound spirit/Ghost in the form/Of a mongoose
I think that would be a really good episode idea.
I ship Pinkie & Mac...trust me...I know what I'm doing.
Tealove is best pony.

Fluttershy's dad is that guy from Manehatten who didn't know what a rooster is, because they're rich and they don't associate with animals.
