Well, I hope it's better than PPGZ. PPGZ was weird. And I watched Excel Saga with little complaint

I saw a few episodes of that. The transformation sequences were so long. And it felt like they did it every other episode.

Well, the original PPG wasn't exactly mundane either, what with a super-intelligent monkey, a transvestite crab Satan, person-sized amoebas, and whatever the heck Fuzzy Lumpkins was supposed to be.

By the way, why is the location thing still going?

Here on the west coast it's only 9:30. They'll probably keep it up until its April 2 everywhere.

@JT: I dunno, something never sat right with me with PPGZ. I really try to be open minded when it comes to adaptations, but this just felt really surreal to me. Maybe I'm just a closet purist. /shrug

I dunno about casting Rarity as Leia. As far as I know, Leia's more actiony than girly, whereas Rarity is the other way around.

But she would rip a dragon to pieces if they touched one scale on Spike's cute little head.

@Syd: All right, now you've got me in the mood for some Star Wars casting.

I'm gonna replace Derpy with Twilight as Luke, because, you know, main character training to be a space wizard and all. Celestia and Luna can be her Obi Wan and Yoda. Rarity can stay Leia, even if she is a bit on the girly side for the role. Rainbow Dash is obviously Han Solo. She's already fantasizing about being one of Harrison Ford's characters after all. As for Chewie, I'm thinking Pinkie Pie or Applejack. Probably AJ, that way Pinkie can be R 2 D 2. I'm just going to assume pony R2 can actually talk.

Hmm, C 3 PO is the only one left, and Rarity fits better than Fluttershy. Maybe Fluttershy can be Leia instead.

AJ is totally Han Solo. And I totally didn't steal that idea from the "Ponies Re-enact Star Wars" video.

Dash or AJ could pull off Han, really. The problem is Dash couldn't pull off anyone else.

Unless you made her one of the droids for a .MOV gag. Or Lando, but then you'd need Fluttershy to be someone else and fill the droids in with, like, Spike and Angel.

WAIT HOLY CRAP. Spike as Threepio and Angel as R2. This works. Who's Fluttershy?
