watching those end credits got me thinking: how are they gonna handle Zecora in Japan? it's hard enough writing dialogue for a character who speaks in rhymes here, let alone in another language.

@Jakes: They have, just a touch. It doesn't bother me all that much, but I'm sure someone's going to throw a fit. As long as it doesn't affect the story too significantly.

@JT: I noticed that they took out a brief shot of Twi looking at the moon from her window and just went straight to the ceremony, but that's all I caught because I came in halfway through.

Overall, I'd say it sounds pretty good. Unfortunately I missed AJ's introduction- but everyone else worked nicely. Rarity could use a little more melodrama and Fluttershy was certainly the highlight.

Why would they need to edit? Was something cut for time (In a country that has less commercial time)?

Honestly this is nothing to get angry over. In fact if it's true I can't help but laugh a little.

They're adding live action bumpers to the end of each episode, so that's likely the reason for the edits.

I caught the tail end of part one in Japanese, noticed they cut the scene where Twilight looks up at the moon from her room. Maybe it was done to make room for the longer credits sequence? That...promo thing with Twilight and (I guess) her VA?

On that note, I have now stared into the abyss that is Japanese commercials.

@Princess; Oh yes, that was quite the stand out. What was that game? I almost want to look it up now cause that strangeness is now scared into my mind.

I was also amused that there was a shampoo commercial...that was exactly like an American shampoo commercial, except it had a Japanses woman (and was in Japanese, of course). Its like, I don't know if I should be more confused or not there's something familiar.

@Calnos: I haven't the slightest idea, but I sure hope someone digs up a title; I'm curious too.

@Sydxelia: She sure does! M.A Larson has been pretty funny all day, too.

I believe the person who uploaded the theme song that Ace linked to is working on that, with subs. So it might take some time unless someone uploads the raw first. (And that's likely.)
