I feel like Twilight's individual relationships with her friends (rather than the group as a whole) haven't been explored enough.

I wonder how many hundreds of times that has been observed in this thread already.

Yeah, I remember feeling a little let down after the pilot for a reason I couldn't put my finger on. It took me a bit too realize that only the pilot focused on a one-to-one relationship with Twilight and each of her friends.
