Damn, that is dark. I wouldn't have thought that the old MLP would have an episode where the ponies were given a choice to either work in a drug factory or let a pony be killed. Hell, I wouldn't have thought that would occur in this generation.

I saw the Escape From Catrina and thought it was okay. I really liked the dynamic between Catrina and Rep, even if it was really sad. I kinda wish Fi M did a little more with their villains like this. I think the closest thing we really had was Babs.

Nightmare Moon also counts. She's more of an antivillain rather than a Complete Monster like Sombra or Tirak.

For G1, Draggle and the antagonists of Baby, It's cold Outside and the Magic Coins serials in the end, were just lonely people.

I do wonder what the general Japanese reaction is to dubbed cartoons. In some part of the internet, there must be some group discussions debating weather Invader Zimshould be watched in English or not and the inevitable English-only purists.
