As Baby Cakes showed, even Pinkie has her limits. I wish we could have a Derpy/Pinkie episode, to see how Pinkie would react to someone who even she finds too ditzy, but sadly it'll never happen.

You should totally have him say "This isn't banana. This is MANANA!"

The leaves look better, in my opinion.

I'm glad I tried it out at least. You won't know until you try. I mean, I can keep trying but...I don't think it's worth it.

She also had limits at the beginning of Party Of One.

That was more physical limits than mental limits; if she would've had the energy she still had the will to keep going.

Her problem with the babies wasn't so much them being clumsy/accidentally breaking things as the fact that they weren't obeying her and they were crying so much and she didn't know how to cheer them up aside from dumping flour on herself.

Probably the closest thing was her troubles with her clones in Too Many Pinkie Pies but that had her added guilt over the fact that she started the problem by cloning herself and her being upset at what they were doing to her friends and her having an identity crisis where she was afraid she wasn't the real Pinkie anymore. Derpy is at least only one pony and wouldn't give Pinkie an identity crisis. She was eager to help and showed concern for Rainbow Dash in The Last Round-Up but did seem a bit oblivious to how much trouble she had caused for others.

Pinkie would be likely to laugh it off. I think the main way that plot would work is if somepony else demonstrated to Pinkie how frustrating it is when someone won't take something seriously. Pinkie has difficulty with that so it would be cool to see how she deals with it when she does try to do something seriously and gets messed up. I don't know if Derpy would be a good choice for that, though.

The CMC would work better.

@The Freeman: That makes me wonder what the Japanese viewers thought of Secret of My Excess where Spike turned into a giant dragon monster. The plot was more likely referencing King Kong than Godzilla, given the whole thing with him capturing Rarity and fighting off the flying Wonderbolts, but given that he's a dragon and not a monkey he would be closer to Godzilla in his giant form.

@Crow: Huh, didn't realize you were following it.

@Turtle: Yeah, that was pretty much the entire point. Pinkie goes on a rant on how terrible it is to put chocolate chip and raisin cookies on the same plate because you always pick the one you didn't want.
