Apparently Zecora was originally going to be named Shaman, Scootaloo would have gotten into fights over her lack of flight...

It's not like those names are even remotely canon, just potential ideas listed by someone who doesn't even work on the show anymore.

I actually would have liked to see Scootaloo be a bit more pugnacious.

By the way, I just had my first day at Megacon in Orlando and I've already spent more money then I should have. Pony presences is not quite as heavy as I expected, but it's definitely there. There has been some scattered merch in varies booths and We Love Fine had a whole booth to themselves that had the majority of the pony merch at the con. Tara Strong was signing autographs but I didn't see her. John De Lancie is also there but not for pony. They are having a massive Star Trek event and pretty much the entire main cast of TNG is there.

Yeah I like the Pac-Man theme names for Pinkie's family. Especially since Pinkie's personality actually matches her counterpart ghost's AI (be as pointlessly circuitous as possible*

Isn't it a bit strange to name a pony after a pie that has a meat filling?

Also, Chicken Pot Pie and Mince Meat Pie are rather disturbing names for vegetarian ponies.

I think at one point it did have meat or meat fat in it but its all dried fruit nowadays.
