So, a thought occurs. Sombra's throne room had, well, a throne. How would he (or any other pony) go about sitting on such a thing without looking strange?
I have a message from another time...
Doesn't Celestia have a throne too? Or am I misremembering?
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
A kind of throne, yes. Looks more like a large padded cushion than a sit-down throne.
Like, I just know he spent a lot of time, perhaps slouching, on said throne while looking really intimidating, but I can't for the life of me think of a sitting pose that would work for that sort of chair and that sort of body.

Yeah, they're pony thrones.
That reminds me about how in
Artemis Fowl, there's a centaur with a custom designed swivel chair. I'm not sure how that's supposed to work.

Oh, you're right. I just took a look. It's actually some sort of big comfy pillow with an elaborate backboard.
But the seat isn't raised like our chairs tend to be.
Ah, and looking at the intro, it appears that the way to sit in one involves the forelegs still holding up most of the body.
Okay, yeah, thanks. That helps a lot.
As for Foley, I imagine the "back" of his chair actually has its support from beams that come around the left and right sides of the chair, because the back can't be obstructing the
actual back, because half of his legs need to go there.

So it was used, but more as a style inspiration. That would explain it.

Question: Do we ever get an idea how big Equestria is? From references, it seems to be about as large as the United States if the cities corispond to where they're located in real life. Aparently a Japanese fan site worked out that Ponyville's in Origon.
"Welcome. You have entered the cranial vistas of psychogenesis. This is the place of no-time and no-space. Do not be afraid."
Oregon? QUICK, TO THE AIRPORT

Flop flop flop flop flop.
My ear is flopping! That's a sign that my ear is flopping!
Took some effort to figure out who was who in that OOTS pic. Is it Belkar-Durkon-V-Haley-Elan-Roy?
And it's a lucky thing, because that sentimental stuff doesn't suit you at all.
