I think Pinkie's story should be something totally unexpected. Like not her typical shenanigans but something more serious.... show that she's more than just fun and games.

Like maybe something from her early days at the rock farm before she learned about fun.

Rainbow's spotlight has her, Tank, and possibly Applejack having to deal with sky gremlins trying to blot out the sun. We can apparently expect Batman Shout Outs.

Fluttershy's issue will expand on her freaky knowledge of sewing.

And of course Rarity with hippies. The only two left unannounced I think are Pinkie and Applejack.

I'm actually a little sad stuff from the comics haven't gotten a lot of fanart yet. There's some comics-inspired Chrysalis stuff, but no fanart of the creatures, lovecats, or even the Changeling Commanders, and like one drawing of Jade Singer I can find on Derpibooru. Maybe things will pick up now that we don't have new episodes for a while, but still I'd like to see more fanwork stuff inspired by the comics. They're shaping up to be pretty good!
