Ew, that's... just disgusting, and I actually like some dubstep. What, did he pass out on the pitch adjustment? And what happened to actually syncing things with the ostensible beat?
Won't be online for a while due to the holidays. Stay safe, happy and warm!

I know, right? If you're feeling particularly masochistic, you should check out the rest of his stuff. I would link you to some beautiful music in apology, but it's Touhou and off topic.

So, remember those chapter books coming out this year? Looks like the first one, focused on Twilight, is a direct followup to the season finale. This is the blurb on the back of the book:
A royal event has turned Twilight Sparkle's life upside down. To learn how to handle her new status, Twilight goes to Princess Cadance for some guidance. The princess shares her own story about how she came to rule the Crystal Empire and a magic spell that helped her follow her heart. Inspired by Princess Cadance, Twilight Sparkle sets off on a quest for the Crystal Heart Spell!
I am now supremely interested in this.

So we will find out how Cadence earned her wings...awesome.

@Perpetual: It certainly sounds interesting, although there are a couple elements in there that make me rather curious about how it could fit into the show's canon. I'm also a bit leery of the fact that there's apparently some sort of "okay I can rule the nation now" spell, which just seems weird. Granted I can't really say for sure until the book is actually out, but I'd kinda prefer it if they took the "Twilight goes to Cadance for advice" idea and just left it at that rather than sending her on a quest for a spell to fix things up.

@JT It never says anything about the spell fixing anything or allowing anyone to rule, considering that all it did was help Cadance "follow her heart". Perhaps it shows visions or grants clarity of mind to sort out issues?

I don't get the appeal of Dubstep (mostly). If you want electronic music with a prominent beat, at least pick something good like this
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

I dunno, that synopsis is just making me ask a pile of questions.
How far back is Cadance's story even set? We know she rules the crystal empire after the season 3 opener...so was this even further back? Was she the ruler at some point in the distant past, then Sombra happened, and she was put under a spell for a thousand years and came back as a child nearer the current time span and then had to grow up again? Did she even know about the crystal heart until the season 3 opener? Did we miss something in between the opener and the end of the season? And would you even need to find a crystal heart spell if the thing is like...right there?
I am befuddled.

So Twi is Friendship and Cadance is Love :V

@Perpetual: I could go with that, although I still prefer the idea of them going a purely mundane route with Twilight having to figure it out herself rather than being magically told how.
