Though, one of the best HIE stories to read that isn't a crossover is Through The Eyes Of Another Pony. Well, assuming he ever finishes the damn thing.

On an unrelated note, one of the Pet Peeves I have with Fic writers in general is that they always make Griffins Proud Warrior Race rivals to the ponies, and there's always some sort of conflict or even outright war going on in the background. Given the fact that the two we've seen have had somewhat close relationships with Equestrians, I'm kind of hoping the writers would've picked up new material by now.

And a smaller Pet Peeve is the fact that few writers come up with names that begin with 'G' for Griffins.

@Fallout Equestria: Probably one of my favorite fanfics in the fandom, actually. But I do understand why most people don't like it very much {Admittingly it does require familuarity with the Fallout games, and sometimes the grimdark goes a little too far}.

As to fics. I generally only avoid Shipping (not interested) and Sad fics (Hate reading overly sad things in general, or watching stuff.) Meaning stuff the sets out from the start to be sad, not ones with some sad things happening along the way.

Only one fic i've ever tried reading, and just had to stop part way because it was so friggen revolting and dreadful. "Octavia Takes the Bus"

I don't think that FOE handled the wry humor that the Fallout series had to help cut the Grimdark of the setting. It came pretty close but didn't completely nail it.

Um. Discord could use time magic. He demonstrated it to Twilight in Return of Harmony part 2. And it explains how he knew somuch about the girls. He was using time magic to his advantage. But time magic can't do everything.

He was only showing her the past. Nothing says they actually traveled to the past.

Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

Speaking of shipping and fanfics, I don't suppose that any of you know of any good Twidash fanfics to reccomend, do you? I love that pairing, but for the most part I can't seem to find any good fanfics about it {Given how 90% of shipping fanfics tend to suck}. :/
