Rewatching "Magical Mystery Cure", I just now noticed that, as Twi is getting blasted by the light of the other five elements, she looks confused or panicked for a moment, then she closes her eyes and smiles right before she disappears. Reminds me of Obi-Wan Kenobi's death.

I don't know if I could ever watch MMC again. It's too heartwarming for me.

And it's the bit with all the past moments on show...a touching round up of the show, and it makes me remember all the fun I had with my friends before we all had to separate. That's it isn't it? That's why it's making feel so odd.

Roll on the 27th...I can't wait to get to Liverpool. Then in July, my other friend returns from working in America. And life will get better.

I think the reason why MMC is a particularly emotional episode is that it does mark an end. Something genuinely changed.

The girls didn't just beat yet another vile villain. It wasn't about saving a kingdom from complete destruction. It wasn't a small status quo change like "Oh, anyone can write letters now!" It wasn't just another episode about learning to get along. Twilight has learned the magic of friendship. She's grown up. They've all grown up.

Twilight has changed, and I like to think she's been changed... for good.

Speaking of cameos, I spotted Doctor Whooves with a crescent moono CM early on. At first I thought the CM swapping was affecting everypony, not just the mane 6.

Right, I'm off to Wales with my Uni this week, and I have no idea if the place we are staying has Wi-fi, so I may end up being unable to post for a while. Not that it will make much difference considering how little I post. :P

Anyway, something I am curious about, I know what the bronies reaction to this season is, but I wonder what the actual target audience has thought about it?
