Rainbow Dash is probably my least favorite pony. Rarity is a bit a jerk sometimes, but she has tons of redeeming qualities. Rainbow is a pretty flat character, in that she's really impulsive when she's good, and she's really impulsive when she's bad.

Yeah she's brash all the time, and if that was all there was to her I wouldn't like her much either, but I think it really helps that she's so self conscious. All her bravado is at least partly a defense mechanism.

That's true...

Fall Weather Friends and Sonic Rainboom showed that Dash really is afraid of losing. And FW Fs shows that in ground pounding activities...AJ is easily her equal!

But...her brash rudeness can annoy me. I'm a surly, touchy, short tempered Bastard who hates pranks and demands respect and politeness.

Me and Dash would not get along.

But...I do still like her. She sits at about 89%.

I'm always a fan of brash characters as long as they fail.

Arrogant characters that are actually REALLY good at what they do annoy me for some reason. Nothing logical, I just wanna punch em.

I'm overexagerating at the moment becuase I know that my Pinkie-dislike has become a little infamous around here. I'm fine with her... for the most part.

RD's also regularly subject to slapstick damage. Crashing into signs, crashing into mountain sides, crashing through windows...

Yeah, RD is smug, but it's not like she never gets taken down a peg or gets humiliated.

Huh. It really seems I'm on the opposite end of the favorite ponies list - I've got RD listed right behind Scoots on mine.

RD just doesn't think before she acts, and it does come back to bite her often enough that I don't mind it. Plus she's not above admitting when she screws up and trying to fix it once she realizes she took it a step to far.

I'd say Twilight, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie, and Rainbow, in that order.

Twilight and Applejack are my favorites, followed by Pinkie and Rainbow Dash. Rarity and Fluttershy are my least favorite, but only by a little bit. Really the range on my affection for these ponies is very narrow.

Maybe I'm being too harsh on RD...

...in Sonic Rainboom...she did chew FS out a bit...but on the way to Cloudsdale, she was trying to get her to be more assertive. Stress and nerves are a powerful force after all.

But...she's a cheat, and a jerk.

They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.
