I honestly don't believe that Dinky is Derpy's daughter, even though she is in my fanverse. (See Perpetual Lurker, we do agree on some fanon stuff!

) That said, I do see Derpy as Dr. Whooves's wife both for the last name similarities and for her weird aging. Appearing as an adult in the past, a filly in the present and Rainbow Dash's age in Cloudsdale.

My problem with asuming Dinky's arents are Golden Harvest and Written Script though, is that Golden Harvest was dating somepony else on Hearts and Hooves Day.

That might be an interesting and fun thing to explore in fanon, but I don't think so. Ponies don't appear to engage in polygamy and polyandry would seem somewhat selfish when Ponyville apparently has a shortage of decent stallions. And we all know tat Golden Harvest is a generous pony. In fact, her being the sharing type has become canon with the cards! Of course, she's also typically portrayed as more attractive than the average mare, so maybe she could get two stallions if she wanted them.
